About Us
Ernakulam District Association Kuwait (EDA Kuwait), A non-profit Cultural Organization for the Indian citizens residing in Kuwait whose domiciles are in the Eranakulam District, State of Kerala. A southern State in India, Kerala code named as Gods own country. Renowned for its endless stretches of backwaters, exotic beaches, swaying coconut trees, verdant hill stations, traditional houseboats, ayurveda and much more…The culture of Keralites (Malayalees) has a flavor of its own, which has resulted in the distinctiveness of their language, dress, and culture. Kerala state has record as the highest literate state in India. Keralite expatriates are well known for their expertise, hard work, honest and dedication to their job.
Objective of the association
To extent an helping hand to the downtrodden and marginalized mass from eranakulam district and assist to maintain progress, prosperity, welfare, and unity among the permanent residents of Ernakulam district who are presently working in Kuwait irrespective of their caste, creed and religion

EDA promotes art, cultural, educational and social activities among the members. EDA conduct periodical family get together and celebrate Onam, Christmas, New Year and Eid festivals.

EDA has a Governing body comprising of President, General secretary, treasurer, General Coordinator with a total of 25 member central committee plus 5 units are functioning in various locations of Kuwait

EDA will do possible advisory assistance to ensure security and safety of the members, their families and their properties, both in Kuwait and in India. However EDA shall act only within the permissible rules and regulations.

EDA will take up measures to bring up hardships of Indian expatriates to the attention of Central, and State Government and Indian Embassy in Kuwait and ensure necessary legal and financial assistance is given which are possible within the jurisdiction of Kuwait and India.
